The subcontractor shall be responsible for the receipt and issue of supplies and materials, as well as other equipment or repair parts required for each battalion. The contractor shall maintain and operate a Mission Stock Record Account (MSRA) for each battalion in accordance with standard Army accountability procedures. The subcontractor shall be responsible for maintaining the property book using the Property Book and Unit Supply-Enhanced (PBUS-E).
Subcontractor employee shall perform the following supply functions:
a. Maintain accountability to include an audit trail of all supplies and materials, as well as other associated items received until issued to the gaining activity.
b. Use the Army supply system to order materials and parts, as well as items which are not available, determining the best method of procurement for each item. The contractor shall obtain approval from the COR/TCOR before ordering from a commercial source.
c. Ensure all equipment is issued to gaining activity and is properly packed and shipped.
d. Track transportation shipments in both the Army and commercial pipeline (i.e., Government Bill of Lading and FEDEX) and take action to expedite delivery when required or to resolve shipment discrepancies.

The subcontractor shall provide Clerical Support in the Brigade and Battalion Headquarters and shall collect and provide information to the Brigade and Battalion Personnel and Administrative Center (PAC) for personnel in the Brigade and Battalion. Background
Seeking skilled linguists with Pashto and Dari languages capabilities to support current intelligence efforts and gather information for Force Protection in support of military units. Positions are available both in the U.S. as well as abroad. These highly capable professionals will be part of a unique mission that will influence the effectiveness of the U.S. in the area of operations.
Citizenship: CAT I linguists must be a U.S. citizen.
Security Clearance:
CAT I linguists do not require a security clearance. However, all CAT I linguists will be screened by Government designated personnel in accordance with the Department of the Army Contract Linguist Personnel Security Investigation and Counterintelligence-Focused Security Review Program Policy dated 20 Sep 2010. The Government will review each CAT I linguist’s background and determine if the linguist shall be allowed to work in that capacity.
Qualifications & Skills
CAT I linguists must have a language proficiency in Pashto or Dari to a level acceptable for translation, interpretation or transcription. Linguists should be effective in adapting to their local environment and gain the trust and acceptance of the populace where they are assigned. This capability will be essential to executing their duties in an effective manner.
Responsibilities:
- Accompany U.S. and military officials on designated missions to provide linguistics support as required by the customer.
- Provide written translations of oral, videotape, and/or other sources from one language into another language
- Identify and preserve the meaning and intent of the original source language
- Transcription services of oral sources.
- Listen or view the material and comprehend the language, write comprehensibly, and choose the equivalent expression in the language that both fully conveys and best matches the meaning intended in the source language.
Essential Duties:
Linguists will be required to translate, interpret and transcribe in support of their customers. In some cases, this will include interpreting contracts and local laws; treaties and international agreements on technical, scientific, military, economic, and cultural subjects; training manuals; court documents; political speeches and position papers; slide presentations; and official correspondence between government leaders.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this work is to provide staff to augment Federal Staff who monitor the National Transportation System, and report incidents, accidents, or threats to the system’s integrity. Additionally, Synteras staff is responsible for analyzing and assessing information related to the transportation industry. Methods of information assimilation include, but are not limited to: (1) coordinated information sharing with established modal Emergency Coordinators, (2) information sharing activities with local, state, and federal agencies, (3) multi-modal information sharing processes, (4) industry level information sharing, and (5) screening all local and national media sources.
The primary outcome of staffing the Crisis Management Center (CMC) is to:
• Provide effective 24X7 monitoring of the transportation system to ensure key DOT staff have the necessary information on transportation related incidents.
• Operate secure and other vital communications links for the Secretary of Transportation and other Senior Officials at the Department of Transportation.
• Provide immediate analysis of emergency incidents and initiate the appropriate response.
• Provide access to unclassified and classified information for the Department.
• Participate in Exercises and drills at the CMC or at the primary relocation site.
• Provide Input for After-Action Reports (AAR) after drills and exercises, and real-world events.
• Maintain a tightly coupled relationship with Federal, State, and local emergency operations centers to make certain that maximum situational awareness and information sharing is achieved.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance and must meet the suitability requirements to obtain access to the DOT computer network, and DOT facilities. Candidates shall have prior operations center experience and have experience operating classified communications equipment. Staff will need to demonstrate proficiency on Crisis Management Center (CMC) procedures within 3 months of beginning training by passing a certification board. In addition, all Candidates shall maintain the following skill sets:
• Ability to fully operate the standard Microsoft office suite of tools to include: Power Point, Excel, and Microsoft Word
• Operate classified communications equipment including classified fax machines, satellite telephones and STEs
• Ability to write grammatically correct and technically proficient reports for consumption by senior officials
• Ability to analyze incoming information, determine its relevance and importance and route it appropriately
• Ability to determine and research appropriate facts to be included in incident reports
• Ability to operate secure and non secure video teleconferencing equipment
• Ability to provide clear concise and factually accurate incident briefs to senior officials both in person, via phone or email
• Ability to easily operate telephones including call transfers, conference calls, speaker phone and headsets
• Possess proper personal control, tact and judgment required to operate in an environment high in operational tempo
• The ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis as needed.
• The physical stamina to effectively work twelve hour duty days for several consecutive days
• Must have Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This is a 24 X 7 X 365 environment. Candidates will normally work a 12 hour shift, but may be able to work unexpected overtime in times of emergency operations or planning exercises. The work is moderately sedentary, with some local travel required for operational execution or training. Infrequent long distance travel may be required for training or during an exercise or emergency.
In certain emergency situations, the Candidate may be expected to relocate within hours of notification for an extended period in excess of 30 days, and operate under austere and demanding physical and emotional conditions. Under certain extreme conditions or national level exercises, out of area travel for varying durations is possible.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
You qualify for this position at the GS-14 level if you possess the following:
One full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 federal grade level. Operations Assistant

Job Description
The Operations Assistant will perform tasks as directed by and supports the Force Protection Shift Supervisor or Assistant Shift Supervisor in Support of Base Defense Operations Centers (BDOC) in Iraq including ensuring administrative supplies are readily available, basic computer troubleshooting, and inventory management responsibilities.
Requirements
• Performs administrative duties supporting BDOC operations to include ensuring that administrative supplies are readily available.
• Performs courier duties and making distribution runs, ensuring the BDOC is well organized and clean.
• Shall collate pertinent details required in developing and providing reports, charts and briefings as requested by the COR through the FPSS and Assistant SS.
• Shall make sure that the property available for use on the contract is kept serviceable, schedule required maintenance, and arrange for replacement/repair as necessary.
• Will report communications equipment problems to the proper agency.
• Shall answer phones and direct calls to the proper person.
• Shall ensure the tasks outlined by the FPSS are performed in a timely manner.
• Shall have a working knowledge of IT equipment to troubleshoot problems with computer software, hardware such as CPU, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
• Maintain an inventory of all GFE equipment in use by Force Protection personnel assigned to the BDOC.
Required Skills
• Written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of Iraqi Arabic is desirable, but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Education & Work Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of Force Protection related work experience in an operations center.
Security Clearance
• Must possess a Secret clearance.

Job Description
