Position summary:
Provide Task Force 41 (TF-41) with technical expertise and engineering advisory services specific to the cellular communications domain in support of the development, fielding, and integration of the Expeditionary Communications Service (ECS). For reference and context, ECS is a separate contract vehicle whose purpose is to establish a cellular communications service which can be integrated with local Afghan carriers, or, when necessary, operate independently of the local carriers. The developer will conduct in progress reviews (IPRs) of the project to corporate leadership and the government client. The developer will prepare and present detailed oral presentations throughout the development process for government client. The developer will deliver an initial and final draft of ITPs and adapt changes advised by the government client into the drafts as necessary. Identifies and recommends practical solutions when determining medical equipment malfunctions and /or manufacturing defects. Recommends use of substitutes or support equipment when the equipment requested is unavailable. Overall work is reviewed for compliance with instructions, adequacy of results, judgment, attainment of objectives and compliance with overall policies/regulations.
MAJOR DUTIES:
