Logistics Support Specialist – Iraq Tracking Code 1475-120 Job Description This is a notional position contingent upon position availability. The Medical Services Support in Iraq Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults. SCOPE: The Logistics Support Specialist (LSS) is responsible for performing tasks and coordinating activities that ensure an uninterrupted flow of personnel, equipment, supplies and services to Iraq health care delivery sites and timely movement of personnel and material within Iraq. LSS handle the shipping, receiving and general warehousing for MSSI-Iraq. LSS make sure shelves are stocked, orders are tracked and invoices are filled. They load/unload trucks and other delivery vehicles. The Logistics Support Specialist (LSS) reports to the MSSI-Iraq Program Manager or a designated PMO Logistics Manager and is supervised by the site Medical Director or designated logistics manager. The LSS is primarily responsible for receiving, storing, recording and issuing medical supplies. They performs receipt, storage, issue, packing and shipping, due diligent care, inspection, quality control, segregation, inventory control, requisitioning, preservation, salvage, and destruction of medical supplies and equipment. The LSS also performs receipt, packing and shipping, care, inspection, quality control, segregation, inventory control, requisitioning, storage, preservation, issue, salvage, destruction, repair parts management, distribution, supply management, property management and accounting of medical supplies and equipment. All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE: Requires the equivalent of a two-year college level program in administration or procurement, including Federal procurement systems. Job Description: The Mid-Level All Source Analyst shall demonstrate a detailed understanding of all junior level core skills and tasks in addition to demonstrating a basic knowledge of current transnational threats; conduction effective research on a given problem set; and CT community collection and warning processes. Contractor shall be able to perform quality control on the database, suggest merge entities, make corrections, and produce complex link charts. •Conduct extensive quality control to improve data quality •Assist with the development and maintenance of data entry standards •Ensure that all junior analysts are training on all the appropriate tools, SOPs, and any further changes to the IC-Palantir SOP •Produce a variety of specialized products •Meet minimum requirements for data tagging as outlined in the IC-Palantir SOP •Identify and train in new analytic TTPs and analytic tools applicable to enhanced analysis and production •Incorporate information derived from these TTPs, tools and databases into the production process •Produce timely and relevant intelligence products using digital production tools •Coordinate with appropriate organizations and coalition partners to meet baseline requirements, internal and external taskings and anticipated customer needs in a timely manner •Create at least 400 links into IC-Palantir per month IAW the IC-Palantir SOP •Provide tailored products such as debriefing dossiers, timelines, link charts and detainee ID/release assessments •Identify intelligence gaps; support generation of collection requirements; provide feedback to collection agencies/elements and support elements conducting exploitation of collected/captured information and personnel •Use IC-Palantir to conduct quality control products in accordance with the quality assurance plan •Under supervision prepare and conduct two weekly IC-Palantir training sessions per quarter •Monitor current intelligence of specified targets •Generate intelligence-based products for use by tactical operators and planners during mission-planning cycle •Interface with representatives from other government and intelligence organizations •Perform resource allocation to identify and accomplish specific intelligence tasks •Perform a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas: o Maintain database on specified targets of intelligence o Process current and historical data collected o Make requests for information to internal and external agencies as needed in support of mission planning o Provide source-directed requirements to guide exploitations or accompany exploitation missions •Act as the subject matter expert for all intelligence matters dealing with your specialty •Provide support to the DCTC IC-Palantir database effort •Provide and maintain a counterterrorism database using approved IC-Palantir SOP. This effort shall also support Requests for Information (RFI). Full time data tagging, message tagging, and manipulation of the data shall be required to do production reporting.
