Position: Production Manager

Job Description: Manage a team of 60 employees in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment. Oversee day-to-day production schedules, operational and plant activities. Assess project and resources requirements. Handle budgets and timescales with clients. Determining quality control standards. Manage production control activities to reduce outages and incidents. Manage production planning and scheduling for on-time delivery. Team building and project management. Reports to Plant Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the selection, training and development of production staff.
* Coordinate maintenance and repair of machines to avoid downtime and delays, ensure production process and machinery are in compliance with customer specifications and professional and safety standards.
* Liaison with buyers, marketing and sales staff.
* Project management
* Recommend process improvements for high quality, cost effectiveness and excellent customer services.
* Determine equipment, materials and staff needs to meet production schedule.

Qualifications: 74th Street Steam Complex is looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor. Bachelor's degree in technical area OR a HS Degree/GED plus a minimum of 5 years work experience in a utility environment is required. Must have work experience associated with welding applications, boiler and auxiliary equipment repair, pump and motor repair, pipe fitting, equipment assembly, and blue print reading. Candidate must have excellent leadership and communication skills along with the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of PC/Mainframe systems is preferred. Possession of an Asbestos Supervisors license is a plus. If candidate does not possess license at time of selection, candidate must obtain license within one year of assignment. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will supervise union personnel in the area of Mechanical Maintenance. In addition, this person will also oversee the contractor custodial supervisor and administer the custodial contract. He/She will be responsible for the safety, productivity and quality workmanship of his/her assigned personnel, for all types of power plant maintenance. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: enforcing all contractual and local work rules, assigning personnel to jobs in accordance with the Weekly Work Schedule, performing administrative tasks in MAXIMO, working with the Planning Supervisor to improve work plans, working over time, weekends and night shifts when needed to cover emergencies, attend the daily management meeting to report job progress, be fully knowledgeable of work scopes and submit Work Permit Requests, control union and management lockers and coordinate the station parking program. Must have working knowledge of control room procedures, oil or gas fired steam generators, steam turbine generators, gas turbines, high/low pressure steam auxiliary operations, plant trouble shooting, boiler mechanics, blueprint reading, equipment assembly, and pipe fitting. The candidate must have knowledge of safe work practices and procedures, operating orders/work permits (lockout-tagout) and use of appropriate personal protective equipment including SCBAs. Strong communication/interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team are required. The Operating Supervisor (1H) must possess 3-5 years of work experience in a power plant / merchant shipping. Must have the ability to obtain a NYC Stationary Engineer License in 1-2 years of obtaining the position. The Shift Supervisor (2L) must possess 5-7 years of work experience in a power plant / merchant shipping and a NYC Stationary Engineer License. Description:
Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) is responsible for providing counterintelligence and counterterrorism services to the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) and United States Air Forces Central (AFCENT) in support of Operation RESOLUTE SUPPORT (ORS) in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
