REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
The LCS Design Engineering Production and Sustainment (DEPS) Mission Module Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB) Technician will engage in Corrective Maintenance, Emergent Repair, and Preventative Maintenance involving GDMS Mission Module support of Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). The candidate will be responsible for the status and grooming of the assigned system under the direction of the Deputy Program Management of Engineering (DPME).
- Assists in the tests, operations, and modification of associated equipment and systems
- Participates on the engineering working team and supports other team members in experimental design, materials, equipment setup/maintenance and RHIB related issues
- Supports the Installation and removal of RHIB and various MM equipment on LCS ships
The candidate will be based in San Diego, CA and will support the LCS platforms, including travel to other domestic ports and OCONUS ports as appropriate. The selected candidate will be expected to travel 20% of the time supporting Littoral Combat Ships (LCS-class ships) and will work within the parameters and rules common to U.S. Naval vessels.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
This position will require the ability to work from tech manuals, vendor documentation, schematics, and engineering drawing to supports the ship’s maintenance efforts.
The LCS DEPS Mission Module Maintenance Technician will be expected to be proficiency in test equipment operations, pin insertion/extraction methods, cable repair/rework, connector repair/rework, and basic soldering. Additional duties may be assigned, including but not limited to logistics, material, and safety responsibilities as it relates to the Mission Modules. LCS Design Engineering Production and Sustainment (DEPS) Mission Module Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB) Technician will be expected to become completely familiar with their system, with the goal of becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Candidate will be required to perform physically demanding work, to include working over the side near water, in tight, restricted spaces onboard LCS Platforms, climbing scaffolding, ladders and standing for long periods of time onboard a LCS ship or pier and be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Job Description:
You will inspect, maintain and repair the fueling equipment at your assigned stations, and ensure each station has an esthetically pleasing appearance. You will travel from site to site doing equipment and control maintenance and creating positive customer relations. Typically you will travel to multiple stations each day, making sure safety interlocks for shut-down systems are working properly or automatically rebuilding compressors after 5000 hours of use.
Responsibilities:
· Make periodic inspections of fueling locations and equipment to determine that proper and normal operating conditions are being met.
· Check and record operational data such as fluid levels, temperatures and pressures, compare to trends and have the ability to make corrections as needed.
· Install, remove and modify fueling locations and equipment.
· Maintain all fueling related equipment and structures in accordance with manufactures and company guidelines.
· Clean and maintain fueling locations by picking up trash, emptying trash cans and dumpsters, hand cleaning and polishing fueling equipment, and painting and maintaining the canopy, lot, islands, and surrounding landscaping in and outside of enclosures.
· Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals.
· Inspect, maintain, adjust, repair or replace electrical equipment including electrical wiring, conduit, panels, switch gear, switches, gauges, transducers, solenoids, gas dryers, actuators, motors, meters and controls for safe and proper operating condition.

The SPTC/SPTW Intelligence Instructor Trainer provides the necessary training support to cover all intelligence disciplines applicable for Afghanistan. Activities include but are not limited to: sustainable and unilateral intelligence capabilities, Counter Intelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and All-Source analysis. The trainer/mentor shall provide training in the intelligence cycles necessary to carry out various operations such as Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze, and Disseminate (F3EAD) or variants for targeting in operations or exercises. Provides guidance and direction to GCPSU in the following areas:
Intelligence geared toward strategic, operational and tactical environments, to include OPSEC, INFOSEC, mission debriefs, liaison with officials to include but not limited to ANP, NDS, and local leaders, in support of source operations/validation, and Indications and Warnings (IW), as well as report writing.
Intelligence in support of operations: Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE) or other variants
Required Qualifications
Shall have background with a minimum of 10 years of experience in developing Link Analysis, Course of Action (COA) Development, Collection Management and Dissemination (CM&D), and Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) or variant with focus on Asymmetric Warfare and/or Counter-Insurgency desired. Shall have post- 9/11 intelligence analytical experience, with experience in any active duty Intel and/or operations position (irrespective of service affiliation) providing analytical direct targeting support to combat units/commands. Provide training to support the client in the uses and capabilities of web-based intelligence tools, software, and databases: Google Earth spatial analysis software or other variants, Microsoft productivity software and applications, and maintaining a Common Intelligence Picture. Familiarity with the following methodologies: F3EAD, Social Network Analysis and CARVER or other variants. Must be able to pass CENTCOM medical, dental and other CRC-related deployment requirements at an approved CRC.
Must continue to maintain CENTCOM Mod 13 and other deployment-related requirements for the Afghanistan theater of operations
Must be in possession of a current/active US tourist Passport with at least 6 months of remaining eligibility
Must be able to receive and maintain a current/active Afghanistan visa

The GSU Medical Mentor will Train, Advise, and Assist (TAA) GSU medics to independently conduct the following tasks: combat casualty care, sick call/medical screening, Battalion Aid Station operations, sustainment of trauma evaluation, and resuscitative care. The GSU medical mentor will train GSU medics to manage detachment or indigenous patients, administration, admission and discharge, care, laboratory and pharmacological requirements and the initiation, maintenance and transfer of records. Orders, stores, catalogs, safeguards and distributes medical supplies, equipment and pharmaceutical. The Mentor trains, advises, assists and mentors detachment in the areas of MASCAL events, and with POI development efforts for any medical-related training at the GSU based on tactical combat casualty care and training directed by higher.
