Due to our steady growth, we are looking for an experienced Battery Systems Engineer to join our expanding electric powertrain team in Hybrids, PHEVs and Electric Vehicles. The Battery Systems Engineer will report directly to Energy Storage Systems Manager and work directly with internal and external customers & suppliers to support concepts development, prototype builds and production of battery systems. The desired individual must have hands on experience with the development of High Voltage Hybrid and Electric Vehicle battery systems. Experience with electric powertrain components such as DC/DC, Motor Controls and vehicle level controls is a plus.
The Battery Systems Engineer, with automotive product development background, will be responsible for the product development aspect of battery systems within a Li-Ion Battery Technology for hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and electric vehicle applications. The position will also focus on the application of these new products. This engineer will take the lead role in developing engineering specifications related to batteries, prototype builds and evaluation of tested parts while adhering to the automotive product development processes.
Desired candidate must be electro-mechanically inclined with experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS) controls, CAN programming and performance aspects of the battery packs. This position will be located in the Allen Park, MI facility.
Qualifications
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of product development engineering experience in the automotive industry
• 3 years of experience working with the development of battery systems, high voltage architecture development and/or electric powertrain components
• Problem resolution in Vehicle Engineering, Control Algorithm Development and Control Systems and Software; Ability to work with CAN based devices
• Experience in product development tools such as APQP, DFMEAs, DVPRs is a must
• Knowledge in electro-mechanical components of vehicle powertrains is required
• Develop technical specification, test plan and test report
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Must have excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must demonstrate an eagerness to learn

Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of a program including the Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing phases, over the entire life of the program.
• Effectively balance competing program constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, funding, budget, resources and risk while achieving the highest quality and stakeholder/customer satisfaction levels.
• Review and provide input to contracts, verify completeness of scope and communicate all program deliverables and customer contract requirements amongst the entire program team to ensure compliance to customer requirements.
• Develop and oversee program schedules, track and update milestones and key activity streams that enable the cross-functional project teams to meet objectives and ensure the team knows what is expected of them, keeping important milestones front and center and insisting on timely completion of deliverables.
• Monitor progress of projects through internal reviews, leading team meetings and assistance where needed to quickly resolve impasses by addressing and/or elevating issues internally and with the customer, ensuring barriers that could impede program progress are removed.
• Communicate program status in a consistent manner with other Program Managers (financials, health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to senior management in an open and honest fashion.
• Monitor changes in program scope and communicate them to the Customer in accordance with the contract requirement to capture any cost(s) or schedule change(s).
• Manages the day-to-day client interaction, including setting and managing client expectations and ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Identify risks in a timely manner, manage and develop mitigation/contingency plans with key stakeholders, removing blockers and impediments to support team efforts.
• Negotiate complex or risky technical business issues on behalf of the company.
• Overall responsibility for managing the program budget and tracking the financial status of the program.
• Responsible for invoicing according to contract schedule of values or milestone invoice schedule.
• Manage purchasing support to maintain vendor relationships and contractual commitments as required by the specific program.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful program execution.
• Provide support for proposal development for new programs, as required.
• Responsible for communicating the program quality requirements or work procedure/instructions to the cross functional teams and supporting the department quality system.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Additional project management, business management education/experience and training will be considered.
• 10+ years of experience in product development in theme park, industrial equipment or automotive industries.
• 5+ years of program management experience throughout the entire project life cycle.
• Knowledge of the engineering design and release process leading to the production/manufacturing of components and assemblies, including BOM development to describe content, weight and cost.
• Familiar with reading detailed drawings (GD&T), various welding, machining, metal finish processes, composite parts, general assembly procedures and practices, and quality inspection reports.
• Experience developing and reporting program critical elements (open issues, project timing plans, budget variances, etc.) to management, internal, and customer teams.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:
A) Assists in researching unclassified and classified databases for use in written products.

Background:
The personnel of the DCOM-A G2 Intelligence Training and Advisory Group (INTAG) are responsible for training, assisting, and advising the Assistant Ministry of Defense Intelligence (AMoD-I), General Staff Intelligence (GSG2) Staff, National Military Intelligence Center (NMIC), and elements of the National Military Command Center (NMCC) in intelligence operations, policy, doctrine, planning, programming, management, staff supervision, process and intelligence oversight in support. All contract INTAG personnel will maintain a deliberate focus on Intelligence Institution Building and Critical Functions using DOTMLPF and associated methodologies or an alternative provided by the military or government contract leads.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
A) Train, advise assist the GSG2 and National Military Intelligence Center (NMIC) Current Intelligence Staff to enable the following:
a) Process all-source intelligence information in order to perform all-source analysis and intelligence fusion, formulate assessments, and produce relevant predictive intelligence products that support the current (Priority) Intelligence Requirements (PIR/IR).
b) Identify intelligence gaps in order to coordinate with CCIRM to develop collection strategies to fill such gaps. Through collaborative effort with the single-source intelligence sections (GEOINT, CI/HUMINT, IMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT) within the NMIC, continue to identify critical, specific intelligence gaps.
c) Maintain an all-source database (National Information Management System (NIMS) or authorized equivalent) to support all-source analysis, fusion, and assessments. Assess the effectiveness of these intelligence sources in terms of their ability to fill intelligence gaps and satisfy PIR/IR.
d) Fuse multiple intelligence sources (GEOINT, CI/HUMINT, IMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT) in order to identify critical Indications and Warning (I&W), perform Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (IPB), develop threat Order of Battle (OB), develop ad hoc and standing intelligence estimates for operational planning, and to formulate intelligence assessments.
e) Develop and maintain intelligence information that identifies and tracks designated/named groups, persons-of-interest (POl), regional atmospherics, and demographics.
f) Develop, update, and maintain regional estimates that identifies imminent or potential threat forces in order to assist target analysis and the targeting cycle. Use this process to support a robust collaborative effort with the Targeting section.
g) Liaise, collaborate, and share intelligence with all vested counterparts within the GSG2, the NMIC, MoD Regional Offices, Ministry of Interior, National Threat Intelligence Center (NTIC), Network Targeting and Exploitation Center (NTEC), National Police Command Center (NPCC), and any other appropriate intelligence & security agencies. Leverage this multi-agency resource to be used as a force multiplier for all-source analysis and production.
h) Monitor all sources of intelligence information to assess the adequacy of reporting and collection; assist CCIRM and/or other appropriate GSG2 and NMIC divisions with the RFI process.
Minimum Qualifications:
A) Candidate must hold a current SECRET Level Security Clearance (Previously granted and never revoked or suspended). If chosen, Candidate must remain armed in accordance with New Century Policies throughout the duration of employment in country.
B) Recent strategic or operational experience in MoD or Afghan General Staff environments, strategic intelligence agencies, inter-agency strategic operations preferably in Afghanistan or Iraq training international forces, as a Senior Level Government, Military Officer, Senior NCO or contractor assigned to like positions.
C) Documented experience in one of the following disciplines/duties: HUMINT/CI, Targets, Imagery/Terrain, Collections, Requests for Information Management, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, Targeting, Intelligence Analyst/Watch Officer, Communications (Intelligence Systems and Technical Support), CCIRM, Analysis and Production, multi-echelon intelligence fusion, intelligence business operations, individual agency/directorate functions, building intelligence institutions and Program Management.
D) Practical Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
E) Experience in professional development & training and working with Middle Eastern or Central Asian cultures is desired.

The Irregular Warfare Analyst (IWA) provides SME support to the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization (JIDO) Attack-the-Network (AtN) Line of Operation. IWA develops multi-layered, multi-intelligence fusion products using established tools within the JIDO intelligence/production cycle and incorporates Unconventional Warfare (UW) concepts and experience to provide compelling decision support products at all levels.
Selected individual gathers and analyzes information to determine threat patterns and methodologies to support client requirements and also identifies key nodes and relationships within threat networks. More About the Role:

Qualifications: (1) Education: Graduate of an accredited EMT-Paramedic certification program (2) Certification: EMT-P, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) (3) Experience: 10-years military or and/or emergency medical services experience; 5-years experience as a qualified Advanced Tactical Practitioner; Instructor/teacher experience, and management experience are required. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
As part of the Veteran Affairs Enterprise Testing Service’s Independent Verification & Validation team, the Health IT Test Engineer position is responsible for providing systems analysis, requirements analysis and risk assessment of various applications including Enterprise Health Record Modernization (EHRM) integration with VistA legacy and others. The position will also require software testing and other activities including, but not limited to:
Analyzing and comprehending requirements
Writing detailed test cases to cover the requirements
Ensuring all requirements are mapped to test cases
Understanding project architecture, test environment, test data needs
Conducting thorough testing of the product – positive, negative, validation, exploratory, regression
Testing may include verification and validation and data integrity. This testing includes items such as database persistence, and/or validation of data transfer between systems to verify technical solution requirements have been met, either within VA or across agencies such as VA and DoD. Negative testing should also be conducted to verify proper error processing.
Identifying and dispositioning defects as per standards and processes
Writing detailed status reports, test execution reports, and test analysis reports
Evaluating, recommending, and implementing automated test tools and strategies
Designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures to ensure health information technology system requirements are met
Developing, maintaining, and upgrading automated test scripts and architectures for application products
Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware health IT applications
Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection
Work successfully both independently and in a team setting promoting a collaborative work environment with team members and customers, defining, organizing, and/or presenting detailed information and data needed to accomplish organization and testing goals
Candidate will actively participate in collaborative meetings with the VA EHRM customer, teammates, VA project teams and other key stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. Two (2) years of documented relevant experience or an Associate’s Degree together with four (4) years of documented relevant experience, may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in a healthcare environment and with electronic health records
In-depth understanding and knowledge of clinical workflows, policies, and procedures, patient care/clinical business processes
Candidate must possess broad and comprehensive experience in software testing lifecycle.
At a minimum the candidate must have seven years’ experience with clinical software testing and leading test efforts
Experience must include writing detailed test plans, detailed test cases, and test reports, communicating status and presenting defects to stakeholders
Knowledge of test management and automation tools
Experience with service oriented architecture (SOA), and SOAP or REST message structures, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), HL7 message
Possess good knowledge of VistA file structure and provide FileMan and data expertise
Ability to research and understand the relations between different packages
Must be able to set up clinical and other data in various packages for testing of multiple VA and interagency projects.
Must be fluent with communication protocols in VistA - setting up Task Manager, Logical Links.
Must have experience in Healthcare IT (Electronic Health Record experience with DoD or VA is a plus)
Strong knowledge of the Cerner healthcare domain
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
U.S. Citizenship is required as is successfully passing a thorough Government background screening requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Experience in a clinical setting and with clinical workflows
Experience with VA healthcare software applications
Business knowledge of healthcare applications
Experience using IBM Rational toolset and/or HP Application Lifecycle Management
Experience using the Agile methodology

FMV analysts will exploit full motion video collected by ISR platforms and apply additional intelligence to create and submit products to the United States Marine Corp. All analysts will undergo specialized FMV training and are expected to work on a rotating shift schedule, 24x7, in a dynamic watch floor environment.
