The Finance Department provides support to Operations group, through information analyses (e.g. current processes, actual performance vs. budget and prior year, budget, etc.), preparation of operational data/analyses for publication to various components throughout company (Senior Management, Program Management, Operations, etc.) who rely on/benefit from the information to make informed business decisions. Reports to the Director of Finance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develops and Leads Billing and Financial Analyst staff including setting expectations, standards and measures.
•Guides employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating finance policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
•Guides staff to develop analysis that Assists Operations teams in the Monthly/Quarterly Operations.
• Reviews and identify areas for cost reductions and operational improvements, annual budget process and periodic forecasting,
•Analyzes financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
•Identifies, investigates, and analyzes potential operational improvement. Based on findings make proposal for operational changes (policy, procedures, processes, etc.)
•Accomplishes organization mission by completing accounting related results as needed.
•Maintains professional and technical skills by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in professional societies.

•Participates in interdepartmental project groups or task forces to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, contract awards, and new policy requirements.
