You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining detailed resource-loaded schedules for implementation, developmental and operational systems. You will work with developmental and operational teams to develop detailed schedules and assists in keeping these schedules current. You will use or recommend automated tools such as MS Project, Primavera or program mandated software. Receive incidents from other DHS Component NOCs and in that capacity will coordinate the resolution, Reason for Outage (RFO), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and keep DHS leadership aware of the evolution of the incident resolution. Provide correlation and trend analysis services for the Department based on inputs from functional departments, DHS Components, and Service Providers for the purpose of coordinating the appropriate response to promote effective and efficient IT operations.
In particular, this role is the primary shift point of contact and is expected to:
Leverage technical background to guide troubleshooting and incident management of technicians responsible for troubleshooting/resolving the issue
Manage and oversea the implementation of the Incident Management Process
Provide information and status updates to leadership on priority incidents and enterprise wide outages
Work in collaboration with Tier 1 to identify when multiple calls are being placed for the same incident to roll up into a master ticket
Complete shift turnover and brief next shift on operational activities
Escalate all issues that cannot be resolved at a Tier 2 level to Tier 3

Draft Memorandums for Record (MFR) for each submitted shipbuilder Hazardous Material Waiver Request and obtain final approvals from NSWCCD ESOH Manager, SEA05P5 Technical Warrant Holder (TWH), Ship Design Manager (SDM) and PMS 501.
Maintain relationship with NSWCCD Code 335 POCs in Philadelphia.
Track and resolve recorded deficiencies (e.g. trial cards, safety surveys, Baseline Industrial Hygiene Surveys, etc) and work with the SDM to resolve detail design issues.
Interpret and provide guidance to the client and design teams on current and future environmental laws, as well as, NAVSEA policy and guidance.
Oversee Contractor ESOH hazard identification and documentation within their Hazard Tracking Database (HTD), assess mishap risk and ensure it is appropriately managed.
Assist the Principal for Safety (PFS) with the development of Hazard Assessment Reports (HARs) for Navy acceptance of mishap risk.

Active Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree required in Environmental Science, Toxicology or Engineering.
10+ years of experience and familiarization with the U.S. Navy ESOH Program.
Ability to multitask comfortably in fast-paced environment.
High level attention to detail with excellent communication and writing skills is required to coordinate a team of Navy military, civil service, and contractors.
Good interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders and other team members.
Skills in Microsoft Office.
