What You’ll Get to Do:
Flight Instructor Pilots shall ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. This will include the identification of aircraft maintenance faults and corrective actions. Responsibilities include:
Maintain accountability, planning, travel, and oversight of approximately 100 International Military Students (IMS) daily and update International Travel Orders (ITO) as necessary. Program IMS training tracks into Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS). Interface directly with the project lead, lead IMSO coordinator, training scheduler, Country Liaison Officers (CLOs), liaison with various offices within NETSAFA, and external DoD/OEM vendors activities. Communicate with multiple U.S. government officials to obtain required FMS documents and determine the status of these documents and to resolve discrepancies. Review and generate monthly FMS student status reports.
This will be an important role as the Foreign Liaison Officer (FLO) Support Manager; providing professional support to officers from a partner navy embedded with the NAVSEA Acquisition Program Office.
You will be a primary representative of the US Government office for the foreign officers chosen by their navy to perform their work in US Government and Contractor sites in Mayport and Jacksonville, FL
Assist with arranging office accommodations, provide onboarding services and guidance, arrange for Common Access Card (CAC) and access to various remote data environments necessary for the officers to perform their work.
Assist with foreign officers’ assimilation into the U.S. Government Program Offices; provide instruction and guidance on US business practices and American culture.
