81. Facilities Maintenance Tech/Supervisor - Glenview/Chicago IL
This is a hybrid technician/security/supervisor role. This person will oversee maintenance for two large facilities and all outside contractors that do work on the building systems. The way that HR explained it -- this person needs to understand how to do the maintenance themselves so that they can oversee the contractors when they come on site to work on an HVAC system or the electrical distribution system or plumbing system etc. This person will also perform some maintenance, but that's not the bulk of the job. Need to understand the operation of HVAC systems, electrical distribution systems, generators, and boilers. A mature jack of all trades from a manufacturing environment will probably work. Anyone with actual facilities maintenance (even in a large apartment complex or something like that) is a match. $30-$40/hr + Tons of OT N/A 3PM-11:30PM Mon-Thursday, 1PM- 9:30PM Friday with O/T hours on Saturday morning 6AM- 2:30PM.
