CACI is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join the DGS-X program located at Langley AFB, VA.

 

This position will require shift work.

 

What You’ll Get to Do:

 

Implement the cyber security plan to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the OA DCGS weapon system.

 

Research, define, and execute firewall policies on host-based intrusion prevention systems (HIPS).

 

Manage the anti-virus scan engine and update the anti-virus signature files as needed for Microsoft and Linux operating systems.

 

Operate log collection tools and review security events as they occur to determine if the event is a threat and if it is, the severity and criticality of it.

 

Manage the tools used to scan the network for vulnerabilities.

 

Use a host of software products used to perform cyber security administrator functions including ArcSight, HBSS, and ACAS.

 

Monitor security systems, analyzes potential threats and vulnerabilities to client systems.

Perform cyber threat analysis and reporting on information from both internal and external sources and appropriately apply gathered cyber threat intelligence to defending the enterprise network.

Conduct Security Monitoring activities to provide Security in Depth visibility into potential known and unknown threats that may pose risk to the client environment.

Ensure security testing and evaluations are completed and documented.

Provide guidance for securing information systems, and support information security assessments.

Provide direct support as a technical representative for ensuring security is integrated throughout the lifecycle of systems.

Knowledge of common enterprise security devices and tools.

Experience with SIEM solutions, preferably ArcSight.

Experience with Microsoft and Linux operating systems.

Lead a PFA team that is responsible for all program financials, including management and review of cost, funding, labor charging and all aspects of forecasting and internal reporting requirements.  The PFAs will operate as the liaison between the PM and accounting organization for all finance and accounting issues. Work collaboratively and lead a PFA team supporting their programs and take direction from the OG Finance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides special mission expertise; assists with planning for Course of Action (COA) and Concept of Operation (CONOP) development and subsequent training and operations on a global scale.

Conducts Pre-Deployment Site Survey duties.

Schedule civilian/military ranges, aircraft, and support personnel to support training and operations and assist in the oversight of training iterations.

Work around demolitions (to include breaching), all small and large arms up to and including 40-millimeter, .50 caliber, and Anti-Tank munitions, and pyrotechnics to include ground burst simulators, and simunitions.

Operate military and civilian vehicles in the execution of ground mobility training.

Observe/supervise training operations including Close Quarters Combat, urban and rural assault operations, small unit tactics, low-visibility operations and tradecraft, Personal Security Detail operations, combat life saver training including Tactical Combat Casualty Care and other realistic military training.

Use night vision devices, use small and large weapons systems, drive standard and nonstandard military and civilian vehicles, fly on rotary and fixed wing aircraft, and operate standard and nonstandard maritime vehicles.

Perform duties as Range Safety Officer/Officer in Charge.

Perform duties as target safety official including safety evaluation walk-throughs for integrated live fire scenarios.

Instruct and guide civilian and military role players in support of training exercises and conduct all training exercise support operations.

 

 

Requirements:

 

Have 10 or more years of special operations experience.

Possess ability to articulately liaison with representatives of other commands, agencies, and countries.

Possess ability to assist in planning, development, and oversight of complex training/exercise programs.

Ability to effectively operate military and civilian radios systems.

Possess complete working knowledge of live-fire and simulation-fire safety standards.

Current TS/SCI security clearance

·         Recommend potential assault zones and conduct through inspections to ensure surface conditions and surrounding airspace meet the requirements for safe operations.

 

·         Assist in performing en-route and terminal administrative air traffic control services for military and civilian aircraft to include requirements in support of special mission aircraft programs.

 

·         Employ visual flight rules and limited instrument flight rules for traffic pattern deconfliction, landing clearance, taxi, marshalling, parking, and take-off services in the terminal areas surrounding established and unimproved airfields, drop zones and helicopter landing zones in accordance with all applicable regulations and instructions.

 

·         Coordinate with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) agencies and facilities to ensure the safe, expeditious flow of aircraft and review mission requirements to determine tactical ATC personnel support requirements.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As a Patriot Defense SOF Desk Officer, you will monitor data and information for aspects of physical security, operational security, security classification, and other control mechanisms to protect and mitigate risk to personnel and operations. You will also provide in-depth intelligence cases and assessments research utilizing all-source and classified information and support pre-deployment activities including Staff Mission Briefs and pre-mission coordination.

 

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

 

Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance

Current CI Poly

Seven (7) years of combined experience providing direct support to O-5 level (Battalion, Group, TSOC, etc.) SOF units, SMUs, Commands, or Interagency offices conducting Sensitive Special Operations, SOF HUMINT or sensitive HUMINT operations, Preparation of the Environment and SOF sensitive operations to include performing associative targeting (individuals, cells, network C2, and logistics); experience using HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, and OSINT to support operations.

 QUALIFICATIONS NICE TO HAVE:

 

Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to include mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents, and FRAGOs.

Experience and capability to perform tasks with Microsoft (MS) productivity software and applications.

Practical understanding of MS SharePoint and Google Earth Spatial Analysis software as well as web-based intelligence tools and databases available through SIPR and JWICS.
