Position Requirements:
• Strong mechanical aptitude is a must
• Working mathematical skills are a plus
• Manual dexterity and the ability to lift & be mobile with 45 or more lbs
• Must have clean motor vehicle record and maintain a positive driving record; an active unrestricted driver’s license is a must. Many jobs sites will also require a 7 year background check.
Additional Skills:
• Concrete sawing experience a plus
• Concrete core drilling experiences a plus
• Class A CDL is not necessary but a plus
• Jackhammer / compressor / air tool / diamond concrete cutting experience preferred
• Bobcat, backhoe or related equipment experience is a plus however this is a labor position
Position Duties:
• Inspection, general maintenance, security and cleanliness of all company equipment
• Administration and management of job related paperwork
• Accurate use and maintenance of Penhall Company equipment to include, but not limited to: vehicles, diamond blades, flat saw, core drill, wall saw, jackhammer & small tools
• Financially responsible; construction service work can be inconstant in the winter. Job security can be based on proficiency and adherence to the Company’s Zero Accident Culture

The Women's Business Development Center is about to launch the Women's Vetrepreneurship Program (WVP), in partnership with the Illinois Department of Veteran Affairs. The program is targeted at women veterans looking at entrepreneurship and business ownership as a means of economic self sufficiency. Plans, designs, and schedules environmental simulation testing. Environmental simulation testing of ammunition and weapons include climatic, temperature, humidity, rough handling, vibration, radiography, and non destructive measurements. Receives test support requests from Test Officers, review of test plans and test item specifications, determines material needs, instrumentation requirements, safety and security requirements, number of samples and personnel required, and methods and procedures required to determine the optimal test methodology for the systems being tested. Coordinates, documents, and archives Test Readiness Reviews for all testing. Complies with and helps to identify standard policies and procedures.
Reviews material for test reports and related technical and administrative publications concerning methods, procedures used in the operation and/or maintenance of test equipment or weapon systems in conjunction with subject matter experts. Organizes material and completes assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, layout, style and terminology. Incumbent may be assigned responsibility for projects involving deviation from established test procedures and/or development of new test methodologies and instrumentation systems.
