Senior Systems Engineer 802.1x Wireless (Hanover, MD) (TS/SCI) Senior Systems Engineer 802.1x Wireless – Job Code: PDS13 Praemittias Defense Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (SSE) for a position based in Hanover, MD. Description The SSE shall determine, teach, and assess appropriate Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP’s) to conduct operations (802.1x and emerging wireless technologies) in a SOF environment to SOF SIGINT personnel. The SSE shall conduct course instruction and enforce student academic standards for both urban and austere training scenarios. SSEs shall also assess individual capabilities and recommend certification of students preparing to conduct real-world and combat Area of Responsibility (AOR) missions based on standards set forth by the government. CONUS travel may be required up to 20%. Requirements •5 years of experience in SOF SIGINT operations •Hands-on expertise and experience with SOF tactical SIGINT beyond the FOB operations in theater. •Ability to demonstrate an understanding of special areas of tactical SIGINT to include 802.1x, tactical network analysis, Linux, signals survey, signals mapping, geolocation, and target analysis. •Solid understanding of wired and wireless computer networks •Knowledge of operations, capabilities, limitations, and security principles of SIGINT systems. •Strong understanding of antenna theory, RF theory, wireless signals, wireless security, wireless protocols/algorithms and wireless standards/architecture (Preferred) •Certified Wireless Technical Specialist (CWTS) certification or Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) certification (Preferred) •Knowledge of operations, capabilities, limitations, and security principles of SIGINT systems. •Experience leading and instructing small groups (Preferred) •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills •Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be eligible to possess and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance. The position will be in Woodbridge, Virginia and will require a minimum of 40 hours a week, with limited telecommuting options after three (3) months.
