I am working with the Federal IT Security Institute (FITSI) Foundation and helping them to socialize an awesome program that they started a few years back. Can you socialize this for me?? Anyone interested in the program can contact me directly and I will give them additional background information and the application.
The Federal IT Security Institute (FITSI) Foundation started the Wounded Warrior Cyber Combat Academy in 2013 to provide Wounded Warriors with training and certifications in Cybersecurity.
The next cohort starts in September 2018 and I am trying to help identify combat Wounded Warriors from Iraq and Afghanistance who are eligible and willing to learn about cybersecurity. The Academy takes Wounded Warriors with no knowledge in Cybersecurity and provides them training to achieve expert level certifications. The training gets Wounded Warriors ready for the work force and enables them to obtain jobs in various Cybersecurity roles such as Network Analyst, Incident Responder, Forensic Investigator, and Penetration Tester.
