Description: Our client is looking for technicians who are certified or have the ability to be certified as ASNT Level II or Level III NDT Technicians with a combination of any three of the following techniques. MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), ET (Electromagnetic / Eddy Current), PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing) RT (Radiographic Testing), or LT (Leak / Bubble Testing) Special preference given to applicants with Shear Wave experience. Our client is prepared to pay for the ASNT re-certifications and has a strong training program for technicians to achieve additional method certifications.

Some typical examples of the work involved are internal x-ray of pipelines, inspection of tanks, pressure vessels, or related hardware and piping, inspection of welds, detection of corrosion, and the identification of cracks. Typically this work will be performed in refineries, petrochemical plants, or other industrial facilities.

Requirements: Level II or Level III NDE / NDT Inspector with ASNT certification (or the ability to obtain certification) and a minimum of 4 years worth of hands on experience or equivalent military training with 3 or more years of experience. Travel of approximately 50% will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Specialized Experience Requirements: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service.

Site is Norfolk Naval Station and the successful candidate will facilitate approximately 1 workshop every other month. Each workshop is 2 ½ days in length (weekday, daytime hours). Basic Assignments
Under the direction of the Maintenance Director, the Maintenance II will instill a positive first impression to all guests through the
development of a clean and well maintained facility. Assist the Maintenance Director and Maintenance Supervisor in the preventive and
ongoing maintenance of all branch facilities. To keep the branch facilities, equipment and grounds in good condition and working order to
maintain facility safety standards as approved by the YMCA of San Diego County. A general knowledge of the use of hand and power tools,

Qualifications
 Minimum age 18.
 Computer literate and proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Database Management and other specialized software.
 Ability to manage, maintain, operate and build to fit the 'Express Maintenance' preventative maintenance, workflow, inventory
and service interval software program and to explain and train staff on the use of the systems.
 Capable of overseeing the maintenance of complete and accurate service records in a clearly understood and easily distributed
manner.
 Basic understanding of building and equipment repairs to include painting, patching, minor carpentry, pool systems, HVAC,
landscaping, plumbing, water/irrigation supply systems, electrical repairs and the knowledge to maintain building code and
operational compliance.
 Have the physical ability to perform skills related to your position.
 Be experienced in maintenance skills and duties associated with the entire YMCA facilities.
 Perform various maintenance, landscape and custodial tasks as needed.
 Have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions and perform work as outlined in a safe manner.
 Have the ability to lift 50-60 lbs. safely and operate various motorized equipment necessary to perform the job.
 Be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Major Functions
 Have a working knowledge and hands on experience of all common building repairs.
 Overseeing specialized automation, work request processing, work assignment and inventories of the Mission Valley YMCA.
 Supervision of the day to day operation of the supply and inventory functions of the Maintenance department within the Mission
Valley YMCA.
 Repair cardio fitness equipment as necessary.
 Assist with landscape management, maintaining roads, cutting grass, fire control measures and weed control.
 Conduct extensive cleaning & housekeeping as necessary.
 Maintain accurate records.
 Proactively participates in safety protocols.
 Ensure the safety of all guests when operating power equipment and landscaping machinery.
 Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the building.
 Repair and replace damaged equipment as needed.
 Assist with the pool system when needed.
 Assist Maintenance Director and Maintenance Supervisor in major renovation to building and grounds within building codes.
 Complete work orders generated through maintenance express.
 Instructions are taken promptly and followed up accurately from immediate supervisor.

Basic Assignments
Under the Supervision and guidance of the Aquatics Department Head, maintains all aquatic records for the Mission Valley & Toby Wells
locations. Responsible for developing tracking tools for programs, marketing of programs, and communication pieces as requested. As
requested by supervisor, provides assistance in the development of the programs related to the Aquatics Programs of the Mission Valley
YMCAs. General duties to include: input all quick checks, development of public relations strategies to promote aquatic programs. This
position will also be assigned to work hands on as a lifeguard or swim instructor in event of emergency. Work closely with Aquatic
Department Head on assisting in updating guard & swim academy schedule for availability, and all aquatic programs for Mission Valley &
Toby Wells.
Qualifications
 Minimum 21 years of age
 Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. (Must crossover to YMCA certification within 6 months)
 Swim Instructor Certified. (Either WSI or YMCA equivalent), YMCA preferred
 Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
 Current First Aid certification (must have Red Cross Title 22 within 6 months)
 Current AED certification
 Current O2 certification
 Must have visual and auditory ability to respond to critical incidents, and the physical ability to act swiftly in emergency situations
 Ability to adequately observe program activities, enforces safety standards and regulations, and applies appropriate policies and
procedures
 The physical ability to lead group activities and perform related physical skills.
 Fiscal management & Summer Camp experience preferred
Major Functions
 Responsible for and maintains all necessary certifications for aquatics staff, updates quick checks on YSharePoint, assist with
scheduling of guards of instructors.
 Actively participates in a positive manner with the total YMCA staff team and works closely and cooperatively with other directors
to ensure program excellence in all areas of programming and administration.
 Contributes to the overall success of the branch by ensuring that facility maintenance systems are considered when developing
above listed programs.
 All reporting deadlines are maintained in a timely manner.
 Assist in monthly Aquatic Staff meetings with half of them being in-service meetings.
 Attends all management meetings.

• Understanding of various interface technologies including MIL Std 1553, vocoders, fiber optic, Ethernet and Mil Std GPS.

Qualifications and Evaluations
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
To qualify for this position at the GS-13 level you must possess the following:

Time-in-Grade Requirements: Status applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade in the Federal service. To be creditable, one (1) year is required at the GS-12 level for the GS-13 and one (1) year is required at the GS-13 level for the GS-14.
All qualifications and grade equivalency requirements must be met within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.


SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: This is a National Security Special-Sensitive position which requires a Top Secret security clearance based on a single-scope background investigation. The individual must be capable of receiving and maintaining SCI access.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
To qualify for this position at the GS-14 level you must possess the following:
One full year of specialized experience. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of Army Military Aircraft Maintenance Officers Phase II course (AMOC Phase II)required. 1500 hours first pilot time with 300 hours in specific MDS (AH-64D) required. Test both normal and emergency functions of systems. Coordinate and direct flight phases of test or support with other aircraft. Maintain flight records and reports observations made during mission. Conduct and supervise training of crewmembers. Instruct Co-pilots in operation and techniques of maintenance test flying. Orient and brief crewmembers and non-crewmembers on duties and responsibilities, flight operation and mission profile.

Maintain proficiency and currency requirements and perform check rides and support flight for proficiency effectiveness. Provide detailed and effective communications with ground maintenance personnel on results of test or acceptance flights. Determine need to re-fly or fix-and-sell on deficiencies noted in-flights. ResponsibilitiesTrain the ANA G6 in providing architecture, governance, portfolio management, strategy, C4 IT acquisition oversight and operational capabilities to enable superior ANA operations. The ANA G6 staff will establish information, communication and technology functions, develop a maintenance tracking system, provide simultaneous contingency communications, develop a signal leaders reference materials and guide, create an information assurance program, and shall assess and validate the ANA G6/CSE’s current state of training. Mentor the ANA on proper doctrine writing and enable the G6 to produce the signal operational doctrine within the first year. Advise the ANA training command to develop a list of documents to support the creation of the ANA signal operational. Advise the Deputy of Operations and Planning (DOP) to develop, update and maintain the G6 organizational military table of equipment (MTOE) and table of distribution and analysis to follow the Command Plan Review (CPR) process to obtain approval MTOE and TDA changes on a semi-annual basis. Coach the ANA Deputy for Maintenance and Support Officer to demonstrate a sustainable capability and develop a program for data collection and analysis necessary to track, revise repair logs as determined with ANA G6 ANA Director of Maintenance and Support activity. Monitor the CSE’s ability to sustain the ability to provide simultaneous contingency communications in support of the NMCC, up to two ANA Corps Headquarters and up to two other geographically separated units. Coach the ANA G6 Director to approve, publish, and distribute the Signal Leaders Reference Materials and Guide (SLRG) to ANA communication personnel.

QualificationsFormer Officer O4-O6 or Command Sergeant Major with Battalion or Brigade Staff experience as either CSM, XO, S3 or other primary staff responsible for training and doctrine development or maintenance support operations.
At least 15 years direct experience in functional area.
Recent operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq training international forces is highly desired.
Command experience at the O5 level (Squadron, Battalion or higher) is desired.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

The primary database is Sybase, and a majority of the application batch code is written in COBOL while the online code is written in C.

This position requires COBOL as the primary coding language.
