The Weapons/Munitions Systems Engineer provides technical support to an Air Force SPO, ensuring weapons and munitions systems are effectively designed, integrated, tested, and fielded. Kinetic Concepts is seeking an experienced Dive Locker Technician to
support 2D Reconnaissance Battalion at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune,
NC. This position provides full-time dive locker maintenance, hyperbaric
system support, equipment accountability, and operational readiness
support for one of the Marine Corps' premier reconnaissance units. The
technician works directly with the unit's Master Diver and is
responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and operational readiness
of all dive and life-support systems assigned to the unit.
This is a fast-paced, operationally demanding role that requires deep
technical expertise in Navy and Marine Corps diving systems, a strong
safety mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal
supervision in a military environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain, inspect, and ensure accountability of all dive locker
equipment in accordance with applicable USMC and Navy technical manuals
and maintenance programs, including:
– MK25 Closed Circuit Underwater Breathing Apparatus
– Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) systems
– Expeditionary Hyperbaric Chamber System (EHCS)
– Transportable Recompression Chamber (TRC)
– Divers' Breathing Air Compressors
– Rapid Deployable Oxygen Transfer Pump System (RDOTPS)
– Associated life support and ancillary equipment
• Operate within the Navy's Maintenance and Material Management (3M)
Program, maintaining all required documentation, scheduling, and
reporting via SKED and GCSS-MC
• Support recompression chamber operations as a qualified Chamber
Operator under direction of the Command Master Diver or a qualified
chamber supervisor
• Develop and submit Dive Operations Plans (DOPs) for each training
evolution in coordination with the Master Diver, no later than 24 hours
prior to each scheduled event
• Access and maintain compliance with SUPSALV CAC-enabled website and
SS521-AA-MAN-10 (U.S. Navy and Manned Hyperbaric Safety Certification
Manual)
• Access Naval Safety Command CAC-enabled website and remain current
on all diving safety instructions and inspection checklists
• Ensure full compliance with USMC Order 3150.4 (Marine Corps Diving
Policy and Program Administration) and USMC TI 4220-OI (Maintenance and
Accountability for U.S. Marine Corps Dive Lockers)
• Procure parts and materials through authorized supply systems
including GCSS-MC
• Read, interpret, and apply technical documents, blueprints,
schematics, and specifications for briefings, reports, and required
documentation
• Respond to and support all foreseeable diving emergencies including
lost diver, equipment failure, traumatic injury, DCS, and AGE
• Maintain qualification currency in all required NAVEDTRA-based
certifications throughout the life of the contract
• Submit weekly reports to the Program Manager detailing equipment
status, maintenance actions, safety incidents, and dive logs
