Systems Engineer will support the V&V engineering team with long term planning, requirements and metrics with respect to verification and validation (V&V) of MDA Models and Simulations (M&S).

Duties:
• Develop strategic VV&A planning briefings for customer and MDA leadership.
• Develop strategic VV&A planning documents to include a VV&A planning portion of the Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP) and a Detailed VV&A Plan as part of the MDA M&S Program Plan
• Obtain detailed understanding of shifting agency paradigms and new focus areas such as Critical Engagement Conditions (CECs) and their integration into the VV&A strategic planning and requirements
• Integrate VV&A requirements into MDA strategic planning documents such as the M&S Program Plan, the IMTP, Test Directives/Policies and M&S Directives/Policies
• Understand and contribute to development of VV&A Metrics for multiple stakeholder intended uses and multiple MDA test venues including Performance Assessment (PA), Ground Test (GT), Assured Response (AR) and System Post Flight-Test Reconstruction (SPFR)
• Collaborate and coordinate V&V planning and requirements with MDA Element M&S, Test Framework and Truth Stimulus M&S developer and V&V community
Qualifications:
• B.S. in Engineering or Math (REQUIRED) Masters preferred
• 10Years of Systems Engineering related experience
• Strong missile defense domain experience
• Experience in modeling and simulation REQUIRED
• Working knowledge of Verification and Validation processes REQUIRED
• Experience working with team problem solving (leading and team participation)
• Experience in software development
• Experience working with MDA customers and stakeholders
• Existing Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret REQUIRED

Essential Job Functions:
Provides operations management oversight for current Five Rivers Services, LLC
contracts. Works directly with Contracting Officers and Contracting Officers
Representatives to ensure contract performance requirements are met. Provides dayto-
day supervision and guidance to FRS Project Managers in all operational,
contractual and personnel management actions. Leads project phase-in and phaseout
activities and participates in contract negotiations. Travels frequently to visit project
locations (CONUS and overseas), Government agencies, conferences, and trade
shows. Assists with marketing efforts, business development activities, proposal
preparation, and performs other duties as may be assigned by the President.
Qualifications:
Military service experience in a leadership-level position is required. Previous DoD
contracting operations, business development or marketing experience required.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Management or a related field is
preferred. Masters Degree is desired. PMP certification is desired. Individual must
work well as part of a small tight-knit team in running a fast-paced, dynamic small
business – requires flexibility, high energy, innovation, and commitment to the team.
