Position: Armory Services This person shall operate an arms room ensuring proper security, issuance, return, and accountability of weapons (M4, M11, and M9). Perform inventory control, to include requisition processing, receiving, issuing and storage of supplies, materials and equipment. Maintain a weapons issue log for the client Government lead. Properly store/maintain ammunition and other explosives as required. Provide basic maintenance (cleaning and minor repairs) to ensure weapons are mission ready. The Armorer shall possess a technical knowledge of weapon repair/maintenance principles, methods, and procedures. Complete and deliver inventory of weapons and ammunition, to include serial numbers, round counts, and hand receipts, and report to client PMO. This report shall verify 100% inventory (Weapons Inventory; A007). Position: Facility Management This person shall assist the Site Facilities Chief in providing various escort, safety, and miscellaneous tasks to enhance site operations such as: • Serve as the Fire Safety Inspector - Perform monthly inspections to include fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, fire evacuation plans, and fire lanes - Conduct assessments, reassessments as needed with site security and facilities management and Base Fire Department to include fire drills, emergency response vehicle ingress/egress exercises - Coordinate with Facilities Management for the installation of fire safety items such as smoke alarms and fire extinguishers - Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and testing of fire extinguishers, manual smoke detectors, automated fire safety equipment and emergency lighting and report performance faults in accordance with site work order Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Follow all fire safety procedures and processes in accordance with Base Fire Safety SOP and additional Base Fire Department policies and all recommendations that can be supported by site sustainment abilities - Directly coordinate with Base Fire Department to provide Government furnished fire safety equipment - Maintain Fire Safety SOP • Manage and maintain the site bicycle pool. This shall include assembly of bikes and repairs as needed. • Monitor and update monthly container inventory of IC assets. Position: Aircraft/Transportation Management Our client utilizes airlift services for movement of cargo and passengers throughout Afghanistan. Position: Asset Management This person shall support the lead client PMO Hand Receipt Holder (HRH) in establishing and maintaining property accountability of equipment as requested. He/she shall assist with establishment and maintenance of formal accountability of client equipment, including: • Advise and assist with inventory activities conducted by hand receipt holders, sub-hand receipt holders, and deployed site leads. • Perform joint special and sensitive item inventories as directed by the client PMO. • Assist with establishment and maintenance of supporting property accountability files and records which support changes to accountability records, to include: - Document Preparation: prepare and process all adjustment documents to account for government property lost, damaged or destroyed, transferred, received, and turned in. - File and record maintenance: Files and records will be maintained using published guidance or as directed by the client PMO. All supporting document files will enable compliance with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). • Maintain, at a minimum, the following documents for equipment accounted for by the client PMO: - Receipt documents: Including DD Form 1348’s and DD Form 1149, upon issue of accountable supplies and equipment to the primary hand receipt holder. - Turn-in documents: Including DD-Form 1348-1, or automated client property accountability database generated turn-ins, for all turn-ins made. - Lateral transfer documents: Including documents which reflect a lateral transfer or issue of equipment into or out of the client PMO accounts. - Adjustment documents: Including reports of survey, administrative adjustment reports, found on installation report adjustments, equipment exchanges and disposals, and other actions that adjust the quantity of equipment on hand or change data fields in the client PMO account. - Inventory Documents: Review all inventory documents such as reports of survey, inventory adjustment reports, cash collection vouchers, statement of charges, or other documents received which change the quantity on hand or other data fields of the client PMO property account to verify the information. - Pending documents: Maintains a suspense file (automated) of pending transactions and takes appropriate action to follow-up on pending actions within two work days of the expected completion date. • Maintain an up to date status of all hand receipts and ensure that hand receipt holders are notified of the need to re-sign hand receipts at least 30 days before the annual inventory. Monitor and obtain signatures from client government site leads before redeployment. • Attend meetings as directed by the client PMO to provide expert level feedback on logistical aspects of planned or discussed property accountability actions which may affect logistics operations or will require logistics actions from other than asset managers. • Monitor in transit property and provide updates while equipment is being shipped.
