Therefore, it is imperative that the participants understand the scope of the training and commitment that is required: A. CPR/First Aid certificate must be presented on the first day of class. (Red Cross will provide CPR training to all participants.) B. Classroom: 80 hours of mandatory classroom instruction and a score of 80% or higher on test. To successfully pass the classroom portion and move on. Failure to attend all classroom sessions will result in dismissal from the program regardless of test scores. C. Chair-side: 600 hundred hours of chair-side practical experience to be completed within six to nine (6-9) months. The expectation for all students is at least 25 hours per week.
