Qualifications

You will assist with pre-deployment training/preparation, conduct professional development within the CACI-WGI SOF Support Team, and mentor new members of the team to ensure they are ready to deploy and succeed.
You will work closely with other members of your team to identify capabilities and vulnerabilities of targeted enemy organizations; identify trends, patterns, and key nodes; and highlight their relationships to the targeted enemy networks.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
· Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
· Minimum two years’ experience providing analytical support to one or more SOF units or commands.
· Minimum one year of experience in forward deployed locations supporting SOF.

The selected individual will support the program objectives with sound engineering analysis of system design, application, and fielding requirements across the acquisition lifecycle including demilitarization and disposal considerations. Tasks include conducting safety reviews of proposed designs, engineering changes, operating procedures, and maintenance procedures to ensure that warnings and cautions are adequate, and that inherent system safety is not degraded. The selected individual will recommend mitigations to reduce the safety hazards, assess and report identified safety hazards and safety risks, and update the safety hazards tracking record. The hazard tracking system will include tracking new and residual hazards, mitigation measures and closures and will analyze designs from a safety perspective to ensure the appropriate levels of quality, reliability, maintainability, and safety are built into the system.
Responsibilities
· Provide system safety technical and analytical expertise and support to ensure programs / equipment adhere to applicable safety related regulations and best practices
· Provide expert advice and analysis and provide independent assessment of ESOH documentation to ensure testing and fielding of safe equipment, managing documentation (e.g., safety releases, risk acceptances, regulatory guidance) and to ensure the programs adhere to regulations and best practices
· Develop and provide Environment, Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH) inputs / analysis for program related documents and develop and consolidate data needed to support program safety metrics
· Provide system safety milestone decision support, to include providing engineering and technical support for milestone reviews and capture and maintain program safety documentation to assist the Program in system safety reviews and follow on analyses
· Provide data in support of hazard identification and mitigation to ensure risk is adequately discovered, captured, communicated, mitigated, and accepted if remaining within the system. Support includes evaluation of technical data, participation in reviews for safety approval and recommendations, providing support for meetings, providing expert technical assistance, providing expert technical review of documents, and correlation and adjudication of comments received on technical documents.
· Develop, maintain and provide safety briefs and assist in the analysis of safety direction to ensure events are conducted in a safe manner
· Assist the government in drafting test reports and test incident reports
· Conduct research to design, document, analyze, and update architectures, conceptual system design, interface control documents (ICDs), planned systems(s) documentation, requirements, and human systems engineering (HSE)
· Conduct research and analysis to develop plans for and assist with rapid technology insertion into system end items for reliability and maintainability improvements and reduction in cost and/or minor performance enhancements in conjunction with field level maintenance
· Develop safety plans, assessments, and certifications for and support the technology insertion efforts to enhance system performance and allow interoperability between Marine Corps and other DoD Ground Transportation community systems
· In the event of vehicle accidents, provide expert assistance in the assessment analysis and investigations of these accidents. Draft and review safety, hazard, and environmental analyses, assessments, and documentation. Support the defined process for reporting and conducting accident investigations
· Review and update the PM LTV risk management program, risk registries, risk mitigation plans, and documentation. Provide support to the risk assessments effort by coordinating with the Project Managers to collect the assessments and provide recommendations on schedule, cost, and technical risk to the projects as well as impact assessments to PM LTV
· Conduct research and analysis in the review of engineering documents including Test Incident Reports (TIRs) and Failure Analysis and Corrective Action Reports (FACARs)
· In support of PM LTV efforts, update engineering documents including making changes to reflect new or updated government policies, regular program progress, regular program reviews and upcoming program milestones including Program Environment, Safety and Occupational Health Evaluations (PESHE)
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental health and safety or similar degree and 7-9 years of experience in the direct role of Systems Safety Engineering
Excellent and proven ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with customer/sponsor stakeholders and senior/executive leadership in government and industry
